La Sociedad Alemana de Cooperación Técnica (GTZ) y el Instituto Goethe están implementando un proyecto: “El Concepto de Progreso en Diferentes Culturasâ€�. En este intento están asesorados y asistidos por el autor de esta ponencia. A través de la cooperación internacional se llegó a una diversidad de conceptos de progreso en varias culturas del mundo. El objetivo de este proyecto es abrir estos conceptos al público interesado, a quienes toman decisiones y a quienes las implementan. Esto podrá ayudar a sensibilizarlos en relación a las diferencias mencionadas y sus consecuencias en el pensamiento y la acción. Junto con los aspectos antropológico y cultural, también serán tenidas en cuenta las dimensiones ecológica y económica. Este proyecto se abstendrá claramente de un rígido posicionamiento eurocéntrico.

La Sociedad AlemanaThe German Society of Technical Co-operation (GTZ) GmbH and the Goethe Institut are implementing a project "The Concept of Progress in Different Cultures". In this attempt they are advised and assisted by the author of this Expose. The differing concepts of progress in various world cultures have been arrived at through international co-operation. The aim of this project is to throw open these concepts to an interested public and to decision-makers and implementers. This would help to sensitise them to the above differences and their consequences on thought and action. Together with the anthropological and cultural aspects, the ecological and economic dimensions shall also be taken into account. This project would clearly abstain from a rigidly Eurocentric standpoint.
