Este trabajo propone incorporar los conceptos de tribu y corporación como unidades de poder para el estudio y análisis de la economía política internacional. Tribus y corporaciones, como unidades de poder, se encuentran en todas las formas de organización humana. Esto es, integran o atraviesan otras instituciones sociales y organizaciones políticas, con mayor o menor grado de estructuración. No niega la existencia de otras unidades de poder, como los estados nacionales, instituciones y organismos internacionales, organizaciones terroristas o criminales, etc.; tribus y corporaciones forman parte de todas ellas.
Tribus y corporaciones son unidades políticas que cumplen con sus verificaciones empírica y lógica; pueden ser perfectamente identificadas en la práctica política, al tiempo que son consistentes con el análisis lógico formal.
Estas son las unidades de poder que mejor interpretan la política en términos de interés y se las propone como herramienta analítica conceptual para comprender el funcionamiento de las relaciones internacionales contemporáneas.

This work proposes incorporate the concepts of tribe and corporation as power units for the study and analysis of international political economy. Tribes and corporations such as power units, are found in all forms of human organization. That is, up or go through other social institutions and political organizations, with varying degrees of structuring. It doesn´t deny the existence of other power units, such as national states, international institutions and organizations, terrorist or criminal organizations, etc .; tribes and corporations are part of all of them.
Tribes and corporations are political units that meet their empirical and logical checks; they can be clearly identified in political practice, while they are consistent with the formal logical analysis too.
These are power units that best interpret the policy in terms of interest and are proposed as conceptual analytical tool to understand the workings of contemporary international relations.
