En el presente artículo realizaremos una lectura alternativa del universo diegético de la obra literaria Recuerdos de viaje (1882) de la escritora decimonónica argentina Eduarda Mansilla desde las nociones de historia, narración y comprensión que propone Hannah Arendt.
Hannah Arendt nos brinda el marco teórico que consideramos nos permitirá argumentar (o explicitar) en lenguaje filosófico las experiencias que Eduarda Mansilla vierte en sus memorias. Pensamos -en clave de hipótesis de lectura- que la experiencia del viaje y la escritura del pasado (la reconstrucción de su memoria) posicionan a la escritora argentina en una comprensión de la historia que permite su narración.
De esta manera, Historia, narración y comprensión serán categorías que se podrán leerse en la obra de Eduarda Mansilla desde las posibilidades que ofrece la escritura, una escritura que mira al pasado.

In this article we will carry out an alternative reading of the diegetic universe of the literary work Memories of travel (1882) by the nineteenth-century argentine writer Eduarda Mansilla from the notions of history, narration and understanding proposed by Hannah Arendt.
Hannah Arendt gives us the theoretical framesssssswork that we consider will allow us to argue (or make explicit) in philosophical language the experiences that Eduarda Mansilla pours into her memoirs. We think -in key of reading hypothesis- that the experience of the trip and the writing of the past (the reconstruction of her memory) position the argentine writer in an understanding of history that allows her narration.
In this way, History, narration, and understanding will be categories that can be read in Eduarda Mansilla's work from the possibilities offered by writing, a writing that looks to the past.
