El artículo presenta el caso de una Escuela que combate la homogenización y sus consecuencias, al igual, que muestra las posibilidades que pueden abrirse cuando sus maestros asumen el reto del cambio. Una escuela que vive entre las tensiones propias de un contexto en crisis en pleno siglo XX, entre la tradición y la necesidad de transformarse; entre mantener viejos paradigmas y asumir otros nuevos; la tensión entre el poder y la autoridad, entre una escuela autoritaria o una escuela democrática; entre la lucha contra las nuevas  políticas educativas o su adaptación a ellas. Es la historia de una escuela que motiva por su disposición al cambio, pero que a la vez se agota en su lucha por la supervivencia. Una escuela cuyos jóvenes estudiantes, se convierten en el motor del cambio por una educación en donde ellos también tuvieron su espacio.

This article refers to the case of a school that fights homogenization and its consequences and, at the same time, it shows all of the possibilities that may arise when its teachers assume the challenge of changing. It is a school that works among the tensions inherent to a crisis context in the XX century, that lives between tradition and the need to transform itself; between conserving old paradigms and assuming new ones; between the tension resulting from power and authority; between being an authoritarian or a democratic school; between the fights against the new educational policies or the adaptation to them. It is the story of a school that that is a source of motivation because of its readiness to change, but that, at same, time becomes tired in its struggle for surviving. It is a school whose young students become the motor of change towards an education system where they also had their own place.
