En este trabajo se esbozan distintas concepciones sobre el rol docente, generando un proceso analítico que conduce a reflexionar sobre el posicionamiento docente desde una perspectiva política, vinculándolo a la perpetuación o transformación del orden social existente y destacando lo relevante que es reflexionar sobre el mismo para definir el sentido por el cual educamos y desarrollamos nuestras prácticas en el contexto actual.

This paper outlines different conceptions of the teaching role, generating an analytical process that leads to reflect on teacher positioning from a political perspective, linking it to the perpetuation or transformation of the existing social order, and highlighting the relevance of reflecting on it in order to define the sense why we educate and develop our practices in the current context.
