En este trabajo se presenta un estudio preliminar orientado a generar y brindar información referente al cumplimiento de las expectativas de estudiantes universitarios de la Carrera de Licenciatura en Sistema de Información (L.S.I), quienes se desempeñaron como pasantes en el sector servicio de una ciudad del Nordeste Argentino (NEA) en el periodo que comprende los años 2003 a 2010. El trabajo se compone de cuatro secciones. En primer lugar, se contextualiza el problema, junto con los objetivos e interrogantes planteados, como así también la justificación. Se despliega el marco teórico con los conceptos principales utilizados para respaldar la presente investigación. La segunda sección presenta una estrategia metodológica cuanti-cualitativa; además se obtuvieron de los estudiantes aportes referentes al puesto, tarea y formación, surgidas mediante encuestas semi-estructuradas. En la tercera sección se muestra el análisis de los resultados del relevamiento de los datos. Finalizando, se exponen las conclusiones.

In this paper it is discussed a preliminary study aimed at generating and providing information in reference to meeting the expectations of university students from the Career Licenciatura en Sistema de Información (L.S.I),, who served as interns in the service sector of the city of currents in the period covering the years 2003 to 2010. The third section shows the analysis of the results of the surveyed data. Finally, some considerations are included.
