| RESUMEN: Para discutir los desafíos de las R.R.P.P en la compleja coyuntura política en Brasil, proponemos dividir el artículo em tres momentos: 1) breve carrera académica y de investigadora; 2) un panorama de la investigación de relaciones públicas en Brasil; y 3) una provocación sobre el impacto de las fake news en el campo de la as relaciones públicas y comunicación organizacional.

| ABSTRACT: In order to discuss the challenges of the R.R.P.P in the political context in Brazil, we propose to divide the article in three parts: 1) a brief academic and research career; 2) a panorama of the Brazilian investigation of public relations; and 3) a discussion on the impact fake news in public relations field and in organizational communication.
